Loan Forgiveness Application Service Now Available
If you have received monies from the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) or the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), you must complete the PPP Forgiveness Application form in order for your loan to be forgiven (i.e. not be taxable).
Depending on when you received the funds and whether you have already been able to spend those monies on authorized expenses, you can apply for this forgiveness now or before the 12/31/20 deadline. The faster you apply, the faster you can get your application in the system, which is bound to be fraught with red tape and delays.
The form is complicated and must be documented with precision and accuracy. We are willing to provide this service to you for a fee to be determined based on the complexity of your business and the transparency of your bookkeeping records. Please make sure to contact us as soon as possible so that we can quote you a fee for this important service. If Nichole is already doing your bookkeeping, please contact her (see below).
By the way, please be aware that the SBA announced that it can review PPP loans of any size at any time. Borrowers must retain their PPP documents for at least six (6) years after the date the loan is forgiven or paid in full. Documentation is critical!!
Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any questions on the above information.
